📋 First Meeting Plan (Intro Call – 30–40 min)

1. Welcome & Introduction (5 min)

  • Introduce yourself and ConnectSoft (who you are, what projects you build).
  • Ask the candidate to briefly introduce themselves (background, main skills, current status).

2. Project & Environment Overview (5–10 min)

  • Describe project stack: .NET Core, Angular, Azure, microservices, messaging, SignalR.
  • Work setup: remote, part-time start (80h/month) with growth option.
  • Communication: daily in Russian, English for documentation/tech.
  • Expectations: independence, code quality, Git collaboration.

3. Developer Environment & Tooling (5 min)

Ask about their working environment to ensure they are properly equipped:

  • Hardware: Do you have a computer/laptop powerful enough for running Visual Studio / Docker / Angular builds? (16GB+ RAM usually recommended).
  • OS preference: Windows / Linux / macOS — and experience developing on it.
  • Tooling:
    • IDEs (Visual Studio 2022, Sql Server Management Studio, VS Code).
    • Git tools (command line, Git).
    • Docker Desktop / Kubernetes tooling.
  • Collaboration tools: Azure DevOps / Jira, Slack/Teams, GitHub/GitLab.
  • DevOps familiarity: Can they run/debug locally with Docker, connect to Azure resources, use pipelines.
  • Internet & workspace: Stable internet connection and quiet environment for remote calls.

👉 This section ensures you know they can start working effectively from day one.

4. Candidate Expectations (10 min)

  • Preferred workload (part-time/full-time).
  • Payment expectations (hourly/monthly, rate).
  • Types of projects they enjoy (backend, frontend, full-stack).
  • Preferred collaboration style.

5. Knowledge & Skills Check (5–10 min, light)

  • Strongest area: backend/frontend/full-stack?
  • Any Azure/cloud experience?
  • Familiarity with Git workflows?
  • Small open question: e.g., “How would you usually structure a REST API in .NET Core?”

6. Documents & Next Steps (5 min)

  • NDA + MSA + SOW to be signed.
  • If fit: move to technical interview or test task.

7. Wrap-Up (2–3 min)

  • Candidate’s questions.
  • Confirm follow-up actions.
  • Thank them for their time.
